When I auditioned for this, I thought I was auditioning for Once Upon A Time. I only realized that it was Once Upon A Time in Wonderland when I showed up to the costume fitting and I saw all the Alice in Wonderland themes on the story board. It all happened pretty quick. I got the call that I was cast on the Monday morning, had a costume fitting in the afternoon and I think I filmed the next 2 day. We filmed this episode in a field in both Coquitlam and Surrey. I loved what they did with the peasant village.
